On Sunday afternoon me Mum came to visit :) She arrived just towards the end of the Eagles game (ugh, those Eagles!!) so Christian and I watched the game in Stapleton where I work so we would be closer to the airport. I went and grabbed my mom and brought her back to the bar just in time to see end of that wonderful game. After the game we came home and relaxed a bit and got ready for dinner. We had dinner at Olivea which is about a 10 minute walk from out house.
We started off with some yummy Sangria.
Christian had:
grilled skirt steak, romesco, agro dolce onions and crispy potatoes

Maura had:
| house made agnolotti: three sided sweet corn stuffed pasta finished with mint and parmesan |
I ordered salmon but they were out :( So I got:
tagliatelle pasta, braised rabbit, exotic
mushrooms and toasted hazelnuts
mushrooms and toasted hazelnuts
Overall it was really good- Maura's was the best!
The next morning poor Christian had to go to work :( I ended up having off the whole time my mom was here because my client went to Boston to meet his new cousin. So my mom and I headed to Boulder. We started off with breakfast at The Buff, then walked around South Pearl street. I had never been there but it was VERY cute!! I didn't really get good pictures bu there were lots of shops!
The Wenger Shop... for some reason I have several pics from here...
Wall of knives...
Biggest pocket knife EVER
On the way home we randomly stopped at a pumpkin patch.
Here is Maura using her little saw to cut a pumpkin off the vine
Later Monday night we had drinks on South Pearl Street near Wash Park and dinner at the Village Cork. Dinner was fun- let's just say it was quite the people watching crowd at dinner!!
