Busy Thursday

Christian & I had a busy day today.  In the morning we decided at the last minute to take Wes to the Aquarium.

Sooo... there's none.

After "work" we had our first kickball game.  Its a big league that plays in City Park (I think some of the league fee goes to charity but I might have made that up).  We rode bikes there (2 min ride) with some friends and had a great time!

Our team shirt.  I recommended "Ballsagna" and "99 Problems but a kick ain't one" but they were a no go.  I can't remember most team names but some I do remember were "Whitney Houston's Swim Coaches" and "Were big in Japan".

Pics are terrible, sorry.  Part of the fun is you are required to hold a cup of beer (or any liquid) the entire time, which makes for glorious spills.  Christian & I pretty much carried our team to a win (HA!)... but seriously the hubs had several catches & I had 1 catch. Pretty much the most athletic thing I've ever done in my life, beer in hand and all.

After the game we played one round (only our own team played) of backwards kickball; kick with your non-dominate foot and run the bases backwards, starting with third base. 

Lots of fun.   

After the game a few of us rode our bikes to a bar & got some grub then headed home.
