Busy Week

Sorry for the lack of posts. It's been a busy week!

Last Thursday I took client to the zoo...

Then I went to our kickball game while Christian went to get his parents and Aunt Regine & Uncle Rick at the airport. 

Our kickball team played either amazingly or horribly which resulted in our first loss of the season.   Boo.  We only have one more game to go (tonight).

Troy used to wear these lovely shorts last year and last week some random girls came up to him and requested that he wear them again so here they are!

I was forced to play first base and got a full beer in my ear canal.

Afterwards I went home and changed clothes and we met CR's fam at Steuben's for some grub.

After dinner and drinks we parted ways (the four of them stayed in a nearby hotel) and we picked them up in morning and headed to Boulder.

Of course we had to have brunch at The Buff.

Then we hit up the Pearl St Mall for some shopping

Then we drove about 10 minutes out of town to check out Boulder Falls.

Its not really a hike its about a 2 min walk to the falls (Christian's dad had a bum leg so we took it easy on him- at least until Monday)

We had to follow this ridiculous family (of 24) up the path while they dropped the 400 bags of groceries they brought. 

We did get a pic of all of us but I don't have it.

Later we just had some drinks & snacks at the house.  Collin & Emily joined us for dinner on Larimer Square.

We closed the place down!

We tried to go back to their hotel for drinks but the bar was closed so we headed home.

In the morning the family came over for breakfast then we met Collin, Emily & the other Linn clan at the Cherry Creek farmers market.

Afterwards the fam wanted to go check out the Botanical Gardens

They were setting up a wedding.  Its a really cool place for a wedding.

Afterwards we stopped around the corner at Lik's ice cream.  Mmmm.  What a great lunch!

Then we headed back to the house and cooked out that night.

The next morning we had breakfast at Snooze then headed to the zoo (for over 4 hours!)

Then we had a healthy lunch went to Lik's again :) 

Sunday night we had a great dinner at Root Down.

Monday morning we drove out near Red Rocks to do a little hike on Mount Falcon (sorry you've pretty much seen all of these pictures already)

For lunch we ate at Proto's in the Highlands.

We took a little nap afterward and then we picked them up a little after 7 and went for a quick stroll through Wash park and had drinks/apps (we were still stuffed from lunch) at The Black Pearl.
