Client, Kickball, Proto's & Pasta

This is just a mishmash of things we've been up to.

As always, enjoying spending time with my little guy:

STILL obsessed with the Lion King.  Hasn't called me "Colleen" in months.  Calls me Nala Lion or Mommy Lion (mommy to his stuffed animal ha)

We went to a little pizza place in the Highlands with Christians co-worker (used to be a resident and is now a resident doctor at the VA) and his wife

   

We shared 2 delicious pizza's.  One was a clam pizza w/ red sauce and jalapenos. 

The one on the bottom had pineapple, prosciutto and lots of other yummy things.

Tiramisu.  (Not that great)

After dinner we went next door to the Denver Brewery (one of the docs at the VA owns it)

 It was rainy and kind of empty

On Thursday kickball was canceled bc of a run in the park so we all met up at Wash Park instead to cookout and enjoy the nice weather

This morning we hit the gym then came home and negated it with yummy food

I made one of Giada's recipes for a pasta salad.

I cooked up some pasta

Roasted some veggies

  

 

 

Cut up some prosciutto & made a vinaigrette

Then I tossed the pasta with some grated Parmesan cheese, the veggies, vinaigrette and topped it with the prosciutto

 Delish!

Now we are off to see The Hunger Games w/ full bellies on this rainy afternoon :)

PS-  Congrats to Maryanne & Drew on their beautiful baby girl Charlotte!!

Babies sit like this all the time, right?  Too cute!!
