Visitors: Round II continued

Monday morning we woke up and laid around a bit, then headed to the "Taste of Colorado" at Civic Center Park on our bikes.  We had been having weeks of 90 degree plus weather and the whole weekend had been in the high 70's/ low 80's which was a nice change of pace.   Today was only about 84 degrees but it felt sooo hot!!!  I think it was all of the grills, etc. making it seem so much worse than it really was.  We got there just after it opened so it wasn't too crowded at first.

Here is Mark enjoying a free pita snack.

We skipped the chocolate covered bacon and went to the "gourmet" section and had some lunch.
Just after lunch we grabbed some beers .  Seconds later Karrie and Mark asked Christian to take their picture... and while holding Mark's phone Christian's beer "exploded" (??).  Only Christian.

Here he is getting a replacement.
Now he is super hot AND sticky- nice!

Of course he had to buy yet ANOTHER tourist shirt:

This was from the kiddie section:
They blew up these "bubbles" with a leaf blower.

Scary, Mark.

After the food fest we cooked out and headed to Red Rocks for the Zac Brown Concert.

The venue was awesome but we got there a bit late and didn't really get a seat (general admission tix).  We got into a mild scuffle with a pregnant women and her mom but our "seat" situation ended up working out....

Some tailgating...

They recorded the show for a DVD and one of the songs will also be their music video (I think its "Keep Me In Mind").

Some video...

It was a fun weekend... thanks so much for coming out Karrie & Mark!!
See you soon when you're back for some skiing ;)
