Botanical Gardens

On Tuesday morning my mom and I headed out to the Denver Botanical Gardens.  You can walk there from our house or its about a 5 minute drive.  Once again we had great weather- 83 ish and sunny with a breeze.

**WARNING: If you don't enjoy close ups of flowers please close the blog now  :)

Some of the walking path:

There was a painting class going on:

A cute group of kiddos- they were shouting the colors of the flowers- Azul!  Rojo!

Some pics from inside the Greenhouses:

The end.

Looking forward to going back when they have all of their lights up for the holidays.
After the gardens we headed to Cherry Creek North and did some outdoor shopping and had a nice lunch- oddly enough our waiter was from Plymouth Meeting, PA and went to grade school at one of the Elementary Schools in the district I taught in.  Small world.

Finally we took a walk through City Park & it stormed on us right when we were about 3 blocks from home.  My mom snuck around and walked right behind me so I could take the brunt of the rain/wind & tree debris.  I had leaves in my eyes and she had on not one, but two pairs of glasses (how embarrassing).  Thanks mom!

It was a great to see my mum!  I'll see her on Saturday when we meet again...

In Las Vegas, Baby!!!

Can't wait :)
