On Saturday morning my parents drove me to Ginner's house. My mom had to go and get my nieces so Mr. and Mrs. Ginner were so kind to host me for breakfast and drive me to the airport. It was great catching up with my Ginner!!!
Ginner had this lovely spread ready! |
When I got to the airport poor Carolyn had been stranded there for hours. She missed her flight at 6:45 am bc of an accident on the Turnpike where she sat for 3 hours. She ended up being on stand by for my flight so we enjoyed a beer while we waited.
She did end up making it on and it worked out perfect!
When I got home I took a much needed nap and then Christian and I went to dinner around 9. We ate at a tapas restaurant called The 9th Door in Lodo (lower downtown).
I didn't get a pic of all our food but here is a peek:
Chorizo al Vino- Spicy Spanish sausage cooked with red wine and bay leaf |
Chuletitas de Cordero - Grilled rack of lamb with creamy polenta and mojo verde |
This morning/afternoon we rode our bikes to Steuben's for brunch. We love Steuben's anytime day or night!!
Mimosa's |
Boring, I know. They do have a killer breakfast burrito which I've gotten in the past. |
