The Village Cork

Monday night after work we headed to The Village Cork in Wash Park with Matt & Kip for our last meal together :(   On the bright side- it was a FABULOUS one!!  The pictures don't do it justice.  This place was adorable! All of the tablecloths outside and appetizer plates were different, etc and there was one chef we could watch cook.  Definitely my new favorite due to great food & and charming atmosphere, especially at night :)  You all must be thinking we are such fatty's!!

We each ordered a wine flight- a great deal!  You will see the effects of this momentarily.

Roasted garlic, brie, apples & bread

Salad & Soup du Jour

We each ordered something different and passed our plates around to share.  EVERYTHING was soo good!!  Most of the ingredients were from their garden.

Kip- House-made Pasta with Pisto
Linguini topped with Roasted Eggplant, Garlic, Capers, Tomatoes, and Peppers in Olive Oil

Col- Roasted Pork Tenderloin, this was my favorite
Over Butternut Squash Risotto topped with Hazel Dell Mushroom and Swiss Chard Ragout

Christian- Fish -N- Chips
Local Tilapia Lightly Breaded and Baked Served with Beet and Turnip Chips with Lemon Caper

Matt- Olive Oil & Herb Roasted  Chicken Breast
All Natural Boulder Raised Chicken, Organic Greens , and Confit Potatoes

It was OK   ;)

And now please scroll down to see what happens when you order several wine flights.

Sorry mom.   I blame Kip.

Sad part is we aren't even drunk.

Thanks so much for the visit Matt & Kip, we had so much fun!!!  Miss you already!
